Newman Tennis Center is responsible for developing and supporting safe tennis programs, events, and activities that benefit the City of Augusta and the wellness of its citizens. 

  • Operates 11-14 tennis tournaments annually 

  • Offers tennis lessons and clinics for adults and children of all ages and abilities

  • Supports the programs for the Community Tennis Association (CSRATA), high schools, and universities 

  • Offers a safe and secure tennis environment for the community 

  • Develops partnerships with local businesses

Newman Tennis Center is a municipal tennis facility with 18 hard courts (14 lighted). NTC is operated by the Augusta Recreation & Parks Department and is open to the public through hourly court fees or membership fees.
