Augusta University Christenberry Fieldhouse

Christenberry Fieldhouse is located at 3109 Wrightsboro Road on the Forest Hills Campus of Augusta University (not on the Summerville Campus off of Walton Way).

In July 2013, Praters Incorporated of Chattanooga, Tenn., was contracted to sand the entire arena floor to bare wood before having it cleaned, stained, repainted and then stained again in preparation for redesign.

The university’s branding initiative for Athletics was a critical element in the process. The revamped “Jaguar Head” logo – displayed at center court in the Jags’ new color scheme of navy blue and silver/grey – serves as the anchor of the floor redesign. The secondary word marks “Jaguars” and “Augusta” are prominent on the baselines and sidelines, respectively. 

CFH, which opened in 1991, is home to the Augusta volleyball, women’s basketball and men’s basketball programs and houses offices for 11 of the Jags’ 13 sports. All administrative and support staff personnel for the Augusta University Department of Athletics, as well as the College of Education’s Kinesiology & Health Science department, are also based in the CFH.
