Grunt Run will be a local run or walk 5K that will work to raise funds and collect items to Bully 4 You Rescue & Rehabilitation Inc., a local non-profit. Come join Run the Tangents Timing on June 8, 2024 at 7:15 a.m. to give thanks through running and giving back to the community while predicting your time!

START/FINISH
The 5k will start and finish at Lake Olmstead Trailhead, 1 Milledge Road, Augusta, Georgia.
THIS EVENT WILL BE A PREDICT YOUR FINISH TIME AND WE WILL GIVE AWARDS TO THE TOP 3 MALES AND FEMALES THAT PREDICT THEIR TIME THE CLOSEST IN THE FOLLOWING AGE GROUPS:
15 AND under, 16-29, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over
We will also give an awards to the male and female that shows the most improvement from our Bunny 5k on March 30, 2024 and this event!
REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until 5 minutes before race time. Race shirts are guaranteed to everyone who registers by May 4, 2024. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Packet pickup will be posted once confirmed.
Registration prices
5K without a shirt are $20 through race day
5K with a shirt is $25 through 2/15/2024, $30 through 05/04/2024 and $35 through race day
Note: All runners who register by May 4, 2024 will be guaranteed to receive an official race shirt! Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.
Age Groups and Awards
Age Groups are 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 - 79, and 80 + male and female plus top 3 overall. Awards will be determined closer to the event date. Chip Timed with awards based on Gun Times.
Parking
Parking will be available along Milledge Road.

Bully 4 You Rescue & Rehabilitation Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue that helps save the lives of the unwanted, abused, neglected, injured animals, including accidental litters of the CSRA and surrounding areas. We also provide a spay and neuter program to provide completely FREE spays and neuters to those who wish to get their pets altered to help reduce the ever-increasing numbers of dogs and cats in this area. We are a family run, foster based rescue that together wishes to make a difference in the lives of any animal that comes our way. Once we save these babies, we care for them like they are our own. We get them fully vetted; we work on rehabilitating them and when they are ready, we find them the perfect fur-ever home for them.
