2025 Augusta Rowing Club Open House for all Highschool Rowers. We currently have a growing group of highschool rowers and are now accepting new rowers that have no experience rowing onto the team for the spring 2025 season.
Requirements: Ability to show up on time to practice during scheduled practices at the boathouse, athletic ability, and willingness to learn
Rowing for the spring season starts now in late winter and carries on till late spring. ( Fall season starts August through November)
Practices starts every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 4:30 pm and Saturday at 9am. Most practices are at the boathouse in Augusta Georgia
Costs: $375 for the spring season after a 2 week trial period. The cost does not include any travel or racing fees.
What do the costs pay for: the coach and equipment
When will races start: We will travel to races on the weekends in late March and April, the coach will try his hardest to get all athletes race ready by this time but the coach has the final say on who is racing
The coach: Coach Chris Moore is a certified US Rowing Coach that has been with us in Augusta for 2 years but has a long history of rowing and coaching all over the country. He will be at the openhouse and we would love to show you around the rowing club facility.
