IRONMAN® 70.3® Augusta returns to the Garden City as the largest half IRONMAN® event in North America! 

The IRONMAN® 70.3® Augusta consists of a 1.2-mile down-current swim in the Savannah River, a 56-mile bike ride and finishes with a 13.1-mile run throughout downtown Augusta, adding up to 70.3 miles of total racing. 

The IRONMAN® 70.3® Augusta is also home to the IM Local program, where local businesses, services, and community partners offer perks to participating athletes and volunteers. For a full list of the perks, check out the IM Local Page.

Local Economic Impact

Since it's inception in 2009, the IRONMAN® 70.3® Augusta has generated more than $25 million dollars in economic impact for the city of Augusta. 

 

Volunteer Team

More than 1,600 volunteers are utilized for the IRONMAN® 70.3® Augusta each year.

 

Lasting Impact

To date, the IRONMAN Foundation has awarded a total of $143,943 in grant funding to 130 non-profit organizations in Augusta's River Region.
