The WJBF/Augusta Sports Council All CSRA Football Awards Show
The WJBF/Augusta Sports Council All CSRA Football Awards Show took place on Tuesday, March 7. Our FCS Punter of the Year, Patrick Rohrbach(University of Montana) and our Ray Guy Award winner, Adam Korsak (Rutgers) spoke at the event. We also announced the All CSRA Offense and Defense teams, the High School Punter of the Year, Player of the Year and Offensive and Defensive Scholars of the Year who all received $1,000 scholarships. Defensive Scholar of the Year: Trey Huff of Lincoln County High School received a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by the F.L. Russell Group
Offensive Scholar of the Year: Will Hattaway of Lakeside High School received a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Murphy Auto Group
High School Punter of the Year: Sean Medcalfe of Westside High School received a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by the Augusta Sports Council on behalf of Augusta Coca-Cola
Player of the Year: Jontavus Curry of Thomson High School received a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Augusta Coca-Cola
